The Hibiscus Events Group chairman Hirdesh Prasad said he is yet to receive an official complaint in relation to alleged claims of bias and concerns raised about the judging criteria of the sponsor of the first runner up of the 2012 Miss Hibiscus Queen’s pageant.
Prasad said although people are talking about certain issues, he has not spoken about this issue as he has not received anything in writing.
The chief executive officer of Fiji Broadcasting Corporation Riyaz Sayed-Khaiyum confirmed they will be filing a complaint in relation to the judging criteria of the Queen’s pageant.
Miss FBC Genevieve Sukhdeo was announced as the first runner up while Miss Mai Life Drue Slatter was announced as Miss Hibiscus.
Meanwhile, Mai Life publisher Naziah Ali said the judging was independent.
