The Government has called for expression of interest for the manufacture of the winning design of the new national flag.
In a notice undersigned by Attorney General and Minister for Finance Aiyaz Sayed‑Khaiyum the company has a maximum of two months after the final design is selected in July to manufacture and supply the appropriate number of flags in time for Fiji’s 45th Independence Day celebrations on the 10th of October 2015.
The advertisement read the Government requires flags of various sizes and for a range of different applications including hand flags and flag pins and will partner with more than one company if necessary.
The expressions of interest should include written examples of the company’s past work, a description of its capability to meet the stated requirements, a description of exactly what products it is able to provide, and a competitive price structure.
Meanwhile, competition for the new national flag is still open and runs till May 1st.
