Look out for Yeshnil Karan when he takes the tracks at the Pacific Mini Games 2022 in the Northern Marianas.
Karan finished third with a new personal best of 3 minutes 58.41 seconds in the 1500 metres event at the Pre-Oceania Championships Meet at Mackay, Australia last week to put him as a medal prospect for team Fiji at the Pacific Mini Games.
The former Tavua College student and Pacific Sprint King Banuve Tabakaucoro have both qualified for the Commonwealth Games after clocking qualifying times in Mackay.
Team Fiji official Albert Miller Senior has says Karan together with other former secondary schools sensations will do well at the Pacific Mini Games.
Meanwhile, Miller says a small team of 12 athletes will represent Fiji in athletics at the Mini Games.
The team will depart tonight.
The Pacific Mini Games will be held from the 17th to the 25th of this month.
