You can expect wet weather to continue till Sunday as a weakening trough of low pressure lies just to the north of Fiji and is gradually moving away from the group.
A high pressure system to the south of the country continues to direct fresh to strong southeast winds over Fiji.
Strong southeast winds with an average speed of 45km/hr are expected over Yasawa, northeastern Viti Levu (Dawasamu to Rakiraki), Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti group, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands.
Cool nights are also expected.
