Fijians can expect more rain in the coming days as a heavy rain alert is now in force for Yasawa and Mamanuca group, Kadavu, Beqa and Vatulele, Ba-Lautoka area, interior Ba area and greater Nadi area.
The Fiji Meteorological Office says this is due to a weak trough of low pressure that lies over the group and is expected to clear the group later today.
However, it adds that another trough of low pressure to the west of Fiji is expected to affect the group from later tomorrow night.
For people living in Yasawa and Mamanuca group, Kadavu, Beqa and Vatulele, Ba-Lautoka area, interior Ba area and greater Nadi area you can expect rain to develop later tomorrow night with a few thunderstorms and isolated heavy falls are also highly likely.
The Nadi Weather Office says localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.
