The Crusaders are expecting a physical battle when they host rivals, the Blues, at Orangetheory Stadium in Christchurch tonight in round 10 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.
Coach Rob Penney says the Blues will be tough as they have got themselves into a position where they are still in control of their own destiny.
He says they can do a job tonight to enhance that a bit further.
Blues Coach Vern Cotter says there will be a bit of chess to be played out there, but also a good physical battle.
He says it will be tough, as it always is.
Cotter says the Crusaders love playing the Blues, and they know playing the Crusaders in Christchurch is one of their biggest challenges.
The Blues are currently ninth on the points table with 16 points, while the Crusaders lead with 28 points.
The two sides have met 47 times, with the Crusaders winning 33 matches and the Blues 13.
The Crusaders will meet the Blues at 7.05 tonight.
In other matches, the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will host the Waratahs at 2.05pm tomorrow at Lautoka’ Churchill Park, Moana Pasifika will meet the Brumbies at 4.35pm tomorrow, the Chiefs will take on the Highlanders at 7.05pm tomorrow, and the Force will face the Hurricanes at 9.35pm tomorrow.
