Welcoming a new year is something most people want to do in a big way and the FM96 Annual Fiji Street Party Big Night Out with Coca-Cola No Sugar is sure to bring a lively atmosphere that will keep people on their toes with pumping music to help welcome another year.
Total Events Company Manager Loretta Jackson highlighted this adding that the thrilling experience of seeing off the year has become a tradition for many families who flock to the Big Night Out each year.
Jackson says that the the first street party was held in 2000 to compensate for the non‑event of the Millennium celebrations and over the years it has seen a number of changes in venue.
She says that the Annual Fiji Street Party Big Night Out with Coca‑Cola No Sugar brings together people from different walks of life celebrating the last few hours of the year and welcoming the New Year.
Meanwhile, Fiji Bus Operators Association has confirmed that bus companies will be providing bus services throughout the night on all routes between Suva to Nausori, Suva to Navua and also in the Suva vicinity to meet the demand of people celebrating New Year’s Eve.
