20 new jobs are expected to be created as FMF Foods Limited will be expanding its Veisari factory.
90 people are currently employed at the factory.
FMF Foods Limited Managing Director Ram Bajekal says the expansion is expected to be completed by March next year.
He says the company has chosen to expand in Veisari because of space constraints at its Walu Bay premises but also to tap into the pool of employment opportunities for people in the Lami and Navua corridor.
Bajekal says the expansion is also to cater for its growing export demand.
FMF Foods Limited currently exports to 21 countries including the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada and Papua New Guinea.
