It is exciting times now for the Fiji Water Flying Fijians as they prepare for their first test of the November tour this weekend against Scotland and coach Mick Byrne says they are looking to finish the year on a high note.

Byrne says the team has had a good year, especially after winning the Asahi Super Dry Pacific Nations Cup title and they will look to back that up in the upcoming tests.

He says playing three Six Nations teams in their 4 tests tour puts them in a great place in their preparation for the Rugby World Cup in 2027.

In terms of the players, Byrne says they have been performing well for their respective clubs, especially the Northern Hemisphere-based players.

The Flying Fijians will play Scotland at 5.30am this Sunday at Murrayfield.

They will take on Wales at 1.40am on Monday 11th November at the Millennium Stadium before playing Spain at 2am on the 17th of November in their third test.

The Flying Fijians will then take on Ireland in their final test on the 24th of November at 3.10am.
