Leader of Unity Fiji Savenaca Narube

The Leader of Unity Fiji, Savenaca Narube says everyone should cling to the hope the worst is over and 2022 will be a happier one for the people of Fiji.

In his New Year’s message, Narube says the pandemic has devastated our lives.

However, Narube says we must face reality.

He says the people are simply tired and fed up with the slow and indecisiveness of decision makers.

Narube says the threat of the Omicron variant is real but the silence from the Government is deafening. He says tourists are bringing in this new variant, yet our borders remain wide open.

He is also calling on the government to announce a credible plan to protect people from the virus.

Narube further says 2022 is an election year and is urging voters not to vote with emotions but for a new leadership that will deliver lasting national unity, inclusiveness, prosperity and peace.
