Euro Championship: Romania wins over Ukraine 3-0, records first win in 24 years

Romania has recorded their first victory at a European Championship in 24 years with a stunning 3-nil win over Ukraine in Group E.

Romania led 1-nil at halftime. Captain Nicolae Stanciu gave Romania a surprise lead in the 29th minute as they last won in 2000 against England in the group stage.

Razvan Marin and Denis Dragus also scored for Romania.

In another match this morning, Slovakia beat Belgium 1-nil.

In tomorrow’s matches, Turkey will play Georgia at 4am while Portugal will play Czech Republic at 7am.
