England got their Six Nations campaign back on track after a comfortable 31-14 win over Italy at Twickenham this morning.
Owen Farrell’s England side scored four tries and also had a penalty try to get their first win of the campaign after an opening round loss to Scotland.
Flanker Jack Willis, lock Ollie Chessum and hooker Jamie George scored tries as England proved too strong for Italy in the forward exchanges.
Replacement wing Henry Arundell crossed for the final try in the second half.
England led 19-0 at halftime, but Italy rallied in the second spell with two tries, to prop Marco Riccioni and substitute halfback Alessandro Fusco.
Centre Ollie Lawrence was England’s player of the match after multiple strong carries in midfield.
Italy, coached by former All Black Kieran Crowley, are still seeking their first win of the series after pushing France close in the first round.
In other 6 Nations matches, Scotland thrashed Wales 35-7, and Ireland end Six Nations champions France's 14-game unbeaten run with a 32-19 win in Dublin.
