England secured a bonus point victory after beating Japan 34-12 in their second Rugby World Cup 2023 pool clash this morning.
It was a tight match-up in the first half as England took a slight 13-9 lead at halftime.
England ran away in the second half scoring 21 points through tries from captain Courtney Lawes, Freddie Steward and Joe Marchant with George Ford converting all the tries.
England improved their discipline in the second half and maintained their strong defence as Japan only managed to score 3 points.
England will take on Chile at 3.45am this Sunday in their third RWC pool match.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Water Flying Fijians created history after beating the Wallabies 22-15 this morning.
In other matches played in this second round of pool matches, France beat Uruguay 27-12, the All Blacks beat Namibia 71-3, Samoa defeated Chile 43-10, Wales beat Portugal 28-8, Ireland thrashed Tonga 59-16 and South Africa demolished Romania 76-0.
