It was an emotional moment during the Fiji Water Flying Fijians jersey presentation last night as hooker Sam Matavesi’s brothers turned up to give him his jersey.
Former Flying Fijian Josh Matavesi tearfully said he loved his younger brother before turning and telling the team that he loves what they stand for.
Joel, the youngest of the Matavesi brothers says they are really proud of Sam.
Flying Fijians coach Simon Raiwalui says one of his philosophies is always family first, and that is the most important thing in life.
Raiwalui says he just made sure Matavesi had every opportunity to be with his family at this important time.
The coach says Matavesi got to go home and his brothers have come over with him for the weekend, so they'll get to enjoy the occasion with him and celebrate his father's life.
Fiji play England at 3am tomorrow in Marseille.
