Emergency exits necessary in buses

Emergency exits necessary in buses
The Land Transport Authority is trying its best to see that all buses coming for a fitness test must have emergency exits.

This is part of the safety procedures after the bus fire incidents.

Chief Executive Officer Naisa Tuinaceva said coaches should have at least five exits including the main door.

Tuinaceva said the exits must be clearly labeled so that passengers can identify them when the need arises.
