Electrical faults had caused the fire in Ba Town Council’s Central Arcade and Tappoos bulk house in Raiwai earlier this month.
This has been confirmed by the CEO of the National Fire Authority, Puamau Sowane who says arson has been ruled out for both incidents.
He says police are handling the investigation regarding the fire incidents in Taveuni which have been classified as arson.
A shop in Naqara, Taveuni was destroyed in the fire while fire was also set outside the Macuata Muslim League Mosque .
