The Fijian Elections Office has today demonstrated the Flush process that will be used before data is entered into the Results Management Information System on election results counting day.
Three representatives from each contesting political party is present at the demonstration to see the entry of results in the Results Management Information system.
The Fijian Elections Office is also taking the representatives through the counting process which shows the steps taken in counting votes.
Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem says this exercise is necessary to ensure transparency in the systems.
Saneem says some party members had claimed counting had stopped while it was still going on in the 2014 election.
He says the Fijian Elections Office will conduct a 24 hour live feed of the counting process and people can log-in to watch the process taking place at any time while it is taking place.
