Eastern Zone Secondary School teams receive financial boost ahead of Deans finals

The Secondary Schools rugby teams that will be representing the Eastern Zone at tomorrow’s Vodafone Super Deans finals, received a financial boost from the Zone committee as a gesture of support.

The school teams include the Queen Victoria School U18 and U19 teams, the Ratu Kadavulevu School U14 and U17 teams, Lelean Memorial School U16 and the Adi Cakobau School U18 Raluve side.

Zone Committee President Solomone Seru told fijivillage Sports that the Committee took some time out to visit the teams and show them their support.

He is calling on supporters of the Eastern Zone Rugby to rally behind the teams that will be representing the zone tomorrow.

Looking at the finals, Ratu Kadavulevu School will face MGM High School in the U14 at 8am, Marist Brothers High School will take on Suva Grammar School in the U15 grade at 9.05am, Lelean Memorial School will play Suva Grammar School in the U16 grade at 11.25 am, Ratu Kadavulevu School will battle Marist Brothers High School in the U17 grade at 12.50 pm, Lami High School will play Queen Victoria School at 2.30pm in the U19 final and Nasinu Secondary School will face Queen Victoria School at 5.30pm in the U18 final. Meanwhile, in the Weet-Bix Raluve competition, Niusawa Secondary School will face Sigatoka Methodist College in the U16 final at 10.15am and Adi Cakobau School will take on Natabua High School at 3.50pm in the U18 final.

All these games will be held at the HFC Bank Stadium.
