Energy Fiji Limited says they aim to restore power supply in the remaining areas in Labasa by today, provided there is no significant damage caused to the network and availability of access to the site.
They say power supply in Taveuni, Savusavu and some parts of Labasa has been restored yesterday.
EFL says strong winds and flying debris caused damages to the electricity infrastructure, especially on the overhead lines(conductors), cross arms and other associated accessories in Vanua Levu and Taveuni.
