The Fiji Airways Men's National 7s side could not find their rhythm in their final pool game of the Dubai 7s after going down 24-0 to Great Britain.
Great Britain denied Fiji any chance of scoring a single point in the match and were very disciplined in defence.
Austin Emens scored the first try in the 2nd minute with a successful conversion to take an early 7-0 lead before Harry Glover extended the lead to 12-0 with an unconverted try in the 4th minute.
Emens scored his second try in the 6th minute as the game went into halftime with Great Britain holding a comfortable 19-0 lead.
Tom Emery scored Great Britain's fourth try in the 12th minute for the win.
Fiji however has progressed to the quarter finals and their opponent is yet to be confirmed.
The Men's cup quarter finals will begin at 6.58pm tonight, the cup semi finals will kick off at 10.04pm tonight and the final will be at 3.53am Monday.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side will take on France in the third quarter finals at 6.14pm this evening.
