The Fiji Airways men’s national 7s team are out of the cup competition after losing to USA 19-21 in the second semi final in the Dubai 7s.
Fiji led at the break after scoring three tries in the first half.
Iowane Teba, Filipe Sauturaga and Kaminieli Rasaku were the try scorers for Fiji.
A powerful performance from USA in the second half saw them scoring two tries to add to Carlin Isles try.
The semi final loss wil now see Fiji playing Argentina at 2:29am tomorrow in the 3rd and 4th place play-off.
South Africa will play USA in the cup final.
The final will kick off at 3:26am.
