Getting a good start in every game is one of the important things the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will focus on in the remainder of this season especially when playing away games.
Head Coach Mick Byrne says this is something they will try and maintain as they turn their focus to their round 8 clash against the Brumbies this week.
Byrne says getting a good start in a game can make a difference and they saw that in their game against the Rebels last two weeks as it not only gets the team going, but the crowd as well.
He says there is a whole range of things that come into play and if they can start well, it does not matter what game they playing, it just puts the team in a better place.
Byrne says the main focus for the team this weekend is making sure they are mentally ready come game time.
The Fijian Drua will take on the Brumbies at 9.35pm Friday.
In other matches this week, Moana Pasifika will meet the Reds at 4.05pm Friday, the Hurricanes take on the Chiefs at 7.05pm Saturday, and the Waratahs play the Western Force at 9.35pm Saturday.
