The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua are confident from their point of view of preparation heading into tomorrow’s Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific Culture Round clash against the Western Force in Perth knowing they have the edge over the hosts after beating them in Lautoka the last time they met.
This was highlighted by coach Mick Byrne who says on their day if they can play their best rugby, they are going to be competitive and have a real chance of winning again.
Byrne says the players are confident in their preparation and they have real belief in what they got out of their game against the Brumbies last Saturday.
He says the setpieces are coming together and that is what builds up the players’ confidence.
The Drua will take on the Force at 11.55pm tomorrow in round 12 of the competition.
In other matches this week, Moana Pasifika will play the Chiefs at 7.05 tonight, the Reds will take on the Rebels at 9.35 tonight, the Blues will play the Hurricanes at 4.35pm tomorrow, the Highlanders will take on the Crusaders at 7.05pm tomorrow and the Waratahs will host the Brumbies at 9.35pm tomorrow.
