After 6 months away from home, the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua arrived into the country last night ahead of their clash against the Highlanders at 4.35pm this Saturday.
The Drua left Fiji in November last year and have been based in Australia for their inaugural Super Rugby Pacific campaign since then.
Coach Mick Byrne says the players will enjoy being back home after so long but he is certain that they will be prioritizing preparing for the Highlanders match.
Byrne says 8 weeks into the competition they have really grown their professionalism and they will be focused on putting on a good performance rather than taking a break.
He says there is still plenty of time to catch up with family.
Captain Meli Derenalagi has shared similar sentiments.
