The Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women is the only team in the 2025 Super W competition to have secured a win so far following their 23-17 win over defending champions the Waratahs last Friday in Sydney.
The win has seen them heading into round 2 of the competition this weekend, sitting at the top of the table with 4 points.
The Brumbies and the Western Force are in 2nd and 3rd place respectively with 2 points each after they finished off with a 29-all draw over the weekend, while the Waratahs sit in 4th place with 1 point.
The Drua Women’s win last week also had some record-breaking moments and one of them was the fastest try to be scored in a Super W match.
The try was scored by centre Vitalina Naikore in the first 8 seconds of the match which was straight off the kickoff.
The Drua Women will now turn their focus to the Reds this weekend and hope to back up their performance from last weekend.
The Drua Women will take on the Reds at 1.05pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
In other Super W matches this week, the Waratahs will host the Western Force at 6.05pm Saturday, while the Brumbies go on a bye.
Meanwhile, the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will take on the Chiefs at 3.35pm this Saturday at Churchill Park in Lautoka, in round 4 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.
