Drone operators are advised that Police will be strictly enforcing a no fly zone around polling stations, the counting centre, and the elections warehouse tomorrow.
Chief Operations Officer ACP Maretino Qiolevu says operators are asked to refrain from flying drones within a vicinity of 500 metres from any polling station in the country from 5am tomorrow to midnight.
Qiolevu says prior approval must be sought from the Fijian Elections Office and failure to comply could find operators liable for prosecution and the confiscation of drones.
