Motorists continue to raise concerns regarding major traffic jam near Suvavou Village on Queens Road.
This has been caused by road works being carried out near the Suvavou Village.
A motorist says that some drivers have started forming a third lane because of the traffic.
Fiji Roads Authority’s CEO, Jonathan Moore had earlier stated that they have to carry out the road works along Lami, and people that are affected by traffic will just have to accept it as it is a short term inconvenience for a long term benefit.
Moore had highlighted this after several complaints received by Legend FM from people that businesses and people’s lives were affected while they were stuck in traffic for a long period of time.
He says that everything that they do will affect somebody in some way.
He had also said the road works has been delayed due to rain.
He assured they will be keeping off the road during peak hours but there could be congestion during the day.
