Driver passes away after motor vehicle accident in Namosi

A 45-year-old driver has passed away following a motor vehicle accident in Namosi.

The man was heading towards Wainiyavu Village in Namosi when the incident occurred.

It is alleged the man lost control of the truck he was driving along Nakavika Village causing it to veer off the road and roll down a nearby slope.

The road death toll currently stands at 30 compared to 46 for the same period last year.
