Driver of ambulance and patient he was conveying to CWM receive medical treatment following accident in Makoi

The driver of an ambulance and the patient he was conveying to the CWM Hospital are receiving medical treatment following an early morning accident in Makoi, Nasinu along the Kings Highway.

The ambulance was heading towards Suva when he made a right turn at the traffic lights when a private vehicle heading in the opposite direction allegedly hit the ambulance.

The accident occurred at about 6am.

The driver of the private vehicle is currently being questioned.
