The driver who allegedly caused the collision of vehicles in Nasautoka, Tailevu over the weekend has been charged.
Divisional Police Commander East, SSP Josua Vodo says the accused has been charged with one count of dangerous driving.
Eyewitnesses told fijivillage News that it is alleged that the driver at fault was drunk and could not control the car causing it to veer to the opposite lane and hit the other vehicle.
A woman who was a passenger in the vehicle that was hit was also rushed to the Nayavu Health Centre but was later discharged with no visible injuries.
