The 23-year-old driver alleged to have caused the death of a 24-year-old man of Korovuto, Nadi following a motor vehicle accident earlier this week has been charged.
The man has been charged with one count of dangerous driving occasioning death and will be produced in the Nadi Magistrates Court today.
The vehicle that the victim was travelling in veered off the road and fell into a river in Sabeto on Wednesday morning.
It is alleged that the 23‑year‑old driver lost control of the vehicle resulting in the accident.
