Dreketi Central creates history with fourth consecutive Macuata Zone 2 win

Dreketi Central College has created history after winning the Coca-Cola Macuata Zone 2 for the fourth consecutive time.

They amassed 31 gold, 23 silver and 20 bronze medals.

Dreketi Central captain Ilaisa Mataqeledra says the battle with Seaqaqa Central College was tough but they managed to win.

He says he was confident in taking the trophy back to Dreketi.

Mataqeledra says they spent 8 weeks training and he is grateful to the management and teachers of the school.

In the boy’s division, Dreketi Central won 9 gold, 7 silver and 9 bronze, Seaqaqa Central in second place won 9 gold, 6 silver and 12 bronze while in third place Tabia College also won 9 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze medals.

In the girl’s division, Dreketi Central came first with 22 gold, 16 silver and 11 bronze, followed by Seaqaqa Central in second with 10 gold, 10 silver and 13 bronze while Ahmadiyya Muslim College finished third with 6 gold, 6 silver and 6 bronze medals.

Meanwhile, Nadogo Secondary School has won the Coca-Cola Macuata Zone 1 with 26 gold, 25 silver and 19 bronze medals.

Shiri Guru Nanak Khalsa Secondary School was second on the overall medal tally with 22 gold, 10 silver and 8 bronze while Duavata Secondary School came in third with 18 gold, 19 silver and 13 bronze.

The Coca-Cola Games will be from the 24th to the 26th of April at the HFC Bank Stadium.
