Diwali is the crowning achievement of self-dignity, equality and justice - Prof. Biman Prasad

National Federation Party leader Professor Biman Prasad says equality can only be achieved through political will and the capacity to dialogue with the ultimate aim of finding solutions through consensus.
  
In his Diwali message, Prasad says they have preached and practiced the virtue of talk, not force, of national interest before self- interest, and above all equality, dignity and justice for all our citizens. 

He says Diwali is the triumph of truth over evil and the crowning achievement of self-dignity, equality and justice.

Prasad says its also very pleasing to see that the Hindu members who are significant diaspora in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States continue to celebrate Diwali in a very vibrant manner.

He says this is admirable because they are bequeathing a strong foundation of self-dignity and the virtues of respect and tolerance for future generations.
