Digicel Fiji today brought smiles on the faces of Saint Giles Hospital patients who were treated with Diwali lunch and sweets.

Public Relations and Sponsorship Manager Satish Narain said they shared the Diwali spirit with them, as these patients are always forgotten and the staff is doing a very tough job.

Saint Giles Hospital Consultant Psychiatrist Professor Ram Malesu said many patients cannot celebrate these occasions with their families and he is happy that Digicel Fiji gave them this opportunity.

About 20 patients and staff were part of the event.

Diwali will be celebrated tomorrow.
