Defending champions, Suva thrashes Rakiraki 7-0 in Futsal IDC

Defending champions, Suva thrashed Rakiraki 7-0 in the opening match of the Digicel Futsal IDC at Vodafone Arena last night.

Reginald Singh scored a hat-trick while Shahil Dave, Vineet Nadan, Sunny Deol and Filipe Baravilala scored a goal each.

In the second match, Ba defeated Tailevu Naitasiri 4-1.

Aisea Codro scored twice for Ba while Shivam Chandra and Malakai Rakula scored a goal while Merrel Nand scored the only goal for Tailevu Naitasiri.

Lami created a major upset as they thrashed Rewa 5-0.

Nikhil Chand, Aman Naidu, Jashnit Vikash, Amit Kumar and Navneet Chand scored a goal each for Lami.

William Valentine scored a hat-trick as Nadi beat Lautoka 5-0.

Surjason Sami scored the other two goals for Nadi.

Rewa will take on Rakiraki at 5pm today, Tailevu Naitasiri takes on Nadi at 6pm, Ba takes on Lautoka at 7.30pm and Suva will face Lami at 8.45pm.

The tournament concludes on Sunday.
