Defending Skipper Cup champions Suva will have to cope with the absence of a number of high profile players as they look to retain the title this year.
New captain James Brown has confirmed that John Stewart, Sireli Ledua and Penijamini Makutu have gone overseas for tour of duty while veteran Vesi Rarawa has retired.
Brown says preparations have been going well so far and they are trying to fill the void left by these players with the younger players coming through.
He adds the aim this year is to win both the Skipper Cup and the Inkk Farebrother Sullivan Trophy.
Suva will be relying on players such as Tevita Ikanivere, Manasa Saulo, Jone Manu and Apisalome Vota.
They will take on Nadroga in their first match of the Skipper Cup at 3pm tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium.
In other matches tomorrow, Nadi will take on Rewa in the Skipper Cup and the Inkk Farebrother Sullivan Challenge at Prince Charles Park, Northland will take on Naitasiri at Gatward Park in Korovou while Tailevu play Namosi at the Nakelo District School Ground.
