A decision is expected to be made in nine days time with regards to the operations of the KFC franchise in the country.
Steve Johnson the manager of Kazi Foods which operates the KFC franchise in Fiji said they will wait for the allocated days however are expected to meet with the Trade Minister Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum today, in relation to the suspension of KFC’s operations in the country.
Although Fiji’s Bio-security Authority said it only wants proper Vet Certification for the imported milk and egg mix and the breading salt, Johnson has told Pacific Beat he does not know why this is being done now.
