The Marist Brothers’ High School under 15 side has ended Gospel High School’s dream run in the Vodafone Super Deans competition after claiming a 22-7 win in the semi final at the HFC Bank stadium this morning.
It was a tight contest in the first half as Gospel held a slight 7-5 lead at halftime.
Marist showed sheer determination in the second half and scored 3 more tries and a conversion to claim the win and book their place in the final.
Meanwhile, in the first under 14 semi final, RKS defeated Marist 13-0.
The second under 14 semi final between MGM High School and Lelean Memorial School is still underway along with the second under 15 semi final between Suva Grammar School and Queen Victoria School.
In the Weet-Bix Raluve Championship under 16, Niusawa Methodist High School defeated ACS 22-17 and Sigatoka Methodist College thrashed Lelean Memorial School 48-0.
