Fiji born Mosese Dawai scored twice as the Highlanders secured their first win in the Super Rugby Pacific beating Moana Pasifika 37-17 in Dunedin last night.

After six straight losses, the Highlanders scored six tries to Moana Pasifika's two to take a bonus point from their first home win.

The Highlanders' first try came after only three minutes from an attacking line-out when Dawai dived over in the corner.

Dawai crossed for his second try on the stroke of half-time.

Meanwhile, Manasa Mataele scored a try for the Force in their narrow 22-21 loss to the Rebels last night.

Mataele sparked into action producing an incredible display of aerobatics to score in the corner.

In the end, the Rebels controlled possession and territory, ultimately securing the much-needed victory.

Tonight, the Fijian Drua will meet the Brumbies at 9.45.

In other matches, the Hurricanes will play the Crusaders at 4.35pm and the Chiefs will face the Blues at 7.05pm.
