Fiji born winger Filipo Daugunu has been named in the Super Rugby Australia Team of the Week after his stellar performance for the Queensland Reds in the 19-3 win over Melbourne Rebels on Saturday.
Daugunu showed great defensive effort where he put on a number of try saving tackles which contributed to the Rebels not scoring a single try in the match.
He played a key role in Brandon Paenga-Amosa's first-half try where he exploded onto Jock Campbell's ball and then offloaded to his hooker to finish off an excellent try.
Other notable inclusions in the Team of the Week are Taniela Tupou, Sekope Kepu, Jack Maddocks and Will Harrison.
The Reds take on Western Force at 9.05pm this Friday while the Brumbies play the Waratahs at 9.15pm Saturday.
