The Cyber Food and South Pacific Business Development have today signed a Memorandum of Understanding to mark a significant milestone in their journey towards empowering women entrepreneurs in the South Pacific in the food delivery industry.
While signing the MOU, Cyber Food Managing Director, Majid Shahzad says they firmly believe in the potential of women entrepreneurs to drive economic growth and uplift their communities.
Shahzad says offering their online services free of charge to all SPBD members will eliminate barriers and provide equal opportunities for women to thrive.
SPBD General Manager Director, Elrico Munoz says this collaboration amplifies the work they do by giving women entrepreneurs a secure platform to sell their products and also deliver services to customers.
Munoz says this partnership will enhance the well-being and growth of their entrepreneurs.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, Co-operatives, Small and Medium Enterprises and Communications, Manoa Kamikamica says the MOU signing today is a milestone achievement for the development of local micro, small and medium enterprises.
Kamikamica says the MOU connect customers who are interested in locally produced food and products.
