Crusaders wing Manasa Mataele back from knee injury

Manasa Mataele will return for the Crusaders this weekend against the Hurricanes in a pre-season game .

Mataele was doing crazy-good things for the Crusaders before blowing out his knee last February.

Mataele says he has just been thinking about the journey the last few weeks as he was on the field looking at everyone else.

He adds most of the time the last eight months, it has just been him, in the gym, running on the sides.

The return of Mataele bolsters an already stacked outside backs group. In addition to Sevu Reece and utility Braydon Ennor, it also includes George Bridge, David Havili, Will Jordan, and Leicester Faingaanuku.
