Every game is significant for the Crusaders as they have yet to win a match against the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua at their home.
Head Coach Rob Penney says the Drua have played very well this year but have sometimes been unlucky and he believes they will be eager to deliver a strong performance in front of their home crowd.
Penney says the Crusaders have been focusing on their mental preparation to ensure they do not come in under prepared and he also emphasizes the importance of respecting the Drua, describing them as a highly competitive and powerful team.
The coach also highlighted Sevu Reece’s shift to the centre position, noting that Reece has played this position before and is fully capable of handling the role.
The Crusaders will play the Drua at 3.35pm tomorrow at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
Meanwhile, a moment of silence will be observed for VITIFM’s iconic personality, Maikeli Radua, before the match kicks off.
In other matches this week, the Chiefs will take on the Reds at 6.05pm today, Moana Pasifika will host the Waratahs at 1.05pm Saturday, the Blues will take on the Hurricanes at 6.05pm tomorrow , and the Force will play the Highlanders at 8.35pm tomorrow.
