Court remands 2 foreign nationals

Nadi magistrates� court this morning remanded two foreign nationals in custody who are charged in relation to the discovery of illicit drugs at the Nadi International Airport last week.

20 year old Muskaan Balagaan, an Indian national charged with one count of possession of an illicit drugs and 25 year old Elton Xhemali, a US National has been charged with one count of engaging in the transportation of illicit drugs appeared before Mohammed Ajmer.

No plea was taken this morning.

The two men were about to depart the Nadi international Airport bound for Australia when they were arrested by Border Police.

The matter has been adjourned to 11th of February.
