A couple who allegedly sent threatening emails to a senior government official will to be produced in the Lautoka Magistrates Court today.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Crime Mesake Waqa says an investigation was conducted by the Criminal Investigations Department Headquarters Taskforce, following the receipt of a complaint.
He says it is alleged that the two during August, September and October this year sent threatening emails to the victim with intent to cause alarm.
ACP Waqa says the 39-year-old man and his 37-year-old wife have been jointly charged with 7 counts of criminal intimidation.
