Couple admitted in Lautoka Hospital after woman starts fire during heated argument

A couple remains admitted at the Lautoka Hospital after they both sustained burns following an argument at their home.

The incident occurred last Thursday in Drauniivi Village in Ra.

Police say the 41 year old woman allegedly started a fire following a heated argument and in the process of trying to put out the fire her husband also sustained burns.

The woman is currently admitted at the Lautoka Hospital as she sustained 49% burns while her husband who sustained 12% burns is admitted at the Men’s Surgical Ward.
