Coordinator of Multinational Observer Group gives Fijians assurance that they are an independent body

The Coordinator of the Multinational Observer Group, Alison Cawte has given all Fijians the assurance that they are an independent body.

Cawte who is from Australia says that they will travel throughout Fiji and engage with stakeholders all over Fiji to ensure that this year’s elections will be conducted in a fair and smooth manner.

Cawte says the Multinational Observer Group will keep a close watch on the processes that take place throughout the elections period.

At present, the group consists of 7 observers who have made observations on the voter registration processes.
