Consumers can look forward to extended business hours in Suva City this weekend as Christmas shopping and hunt for bargains is expected to pickup in the coming days.
The President of the Suva Retailers Association, Vinay Kumar says they have entered the busy period where people will not only focus on Christmas shopping but also do back to school shopping as School Term One starts just 13 days after the New Year.
Kumar says Fiji has moved away from a regulated society and people don’t really need to come to Suva City to do their shopping.
He says the Retailers have also evolved to meet the demands of the consumers.
