Consumer Council of Fiji will make it easier for consumers to follow up on their complaints and receive timely updates on the status of their pending cases as they will launch an automated electronic complaints management system in November.
This was highlighted by the CEO of Consumer Council of Fiji, Seema Shandil at Vanua House in Suva today.
She says that the Council currently has two separate database systems for recording complaints which they receive on a daily basis through various mediums such as in person, on social media, through emails and via phones calls and the electronic management system will ease their work.
Pacific Financial Inclusion Programme Deputy Programme Manager, Krishnan Narasimhan says PFIP will assist The Consumer Council of Fiji to develop an efficient system that can track all complaints and allow the Council to take it to their logical conclusion.
Narasimhan says that this electronic system will benefit everyone.
