Construction of the new grandstand at Govind Park in Ba is expected to start from later this week

The construction of the new grandstand at Govind Park in Ba is expected to start from later this week.

Fijivillage has received information that the new grandstand will have bucket seats and will have 8,000 seating capacity.

Ba’s Govind Park sustained major damages during Tropical Cyclone Winston in 2016.

The new grandstand is expected to be ready in seven months time.

The ground-breaking ceremony will be held today and more details about this project is expected to be released during the ceremony.
